I made it six years without ever going there. Why did I have to go and ruin my streak?

Someone sent me an article about the challenges shorter guys face in the dating world. I can relate, because I'm 5'5" and have even had women as tiny as 4'10" tell me I'm "too short" to consider. The comments section of the story (if you can call it that) was just a minefield of ignorance and cattiness. And the very worst ones were getting recommended dozens of times.

"I won't date a guy unless he can rest his chin on top of my head."
"I won't date a guy unless I have to stand on my tippy-toes to kiss him."
"I won't date a guy unless he can pick me up and carry me."
"I won't date a guy unless he's at least 10 inches taller than me."
"I won't date a shorter guy because then I could never wear heels."
"I only date guys over six feet because they can protect me when I'm in danger."

o_0 Oh my God. I'm glad I don't fit these women's criteria. I don't want to date any of them.
