I finally got one wheel properly mounted. It is a vast improvement over what was original. But the front hubs’ studs don’t have the same shoulders, so it’s back to the parts man. The rear axle flanges need to have the holes drilled out to accept the thicker shoulders of the 1/2" studs. By Dorman specification, this called for a 0.531" drill, which turns out to be 17/32". But the drill bit chatters around and the resulting hole is too loose for the stud to mount firmly, so I’m waiting on a 33/64" bit to arrive via Amazon. It has literally taken me a month just to get a set of rollers installed on this vehicle. But I can’t say I haven’t enjoyed it!
