3 Musketeers vs. Reese's Cups: The Oppositelock Comparison

I know what you're thinking.

"Who the fuck would take the time to write something like this?"

Someone with way too much time on their hands, that's who. Let's get right into this.

The Reese's

These are milk chocolate candies shaped like cups that are filled with peanut butter in the center. You get two in a regular pack, they are each roughly the size of a half-dollar coin.

Being candy from the Hershey company, they are presumably very good. Whoever came up with this combination is clearly a genius.

There really are no downsides to the candy itself, but the amount you get in one package seems to be less than pretty much any other candy because of the way that they cups are shaped. Shaping them differently would allow them to keep the packaging and give us, the consumers, more actual candy.

The 3Musketeers Bar

This candy is much more straightforward in it's shape. It's just a bar of fluffy, soft chocolate wrapped by a thin layer of milk chocolate, about the length of your average pen.

3Musketeers Bars are made by the Mars Chocolate company, which are the same people who make M&M's and other delicious desserts.

The fluffy part is really what stands out here, it just melts in your mouth without having to put any effort in. The milk chocolate outline is really the correct size, not too thick and not too thin. A very positive experience overall.

Which is better? That's a good question that I don't know I can answer. Tastes are subjective, just like how the looks of cars are subjective. I personally prefer the taste of the 3Musketeers Bar, and like the fact that you get more candy for the same price.

It's not like I don't like Reese's cups, it's just that everytime I finish eating them, I feel like I wasn't given enough.

Also, I find it hilarious/sad that the only actual content I write on Oppo has nothing at all to do with cars.
