I’d be lying if I did not admit to being a little nervous. Despite my faith in my little Toyota, shit is about to get serious in terms of miles in hot sumner conditions.

Friday morning, my wife, Toby, and I will saddle up for the 340 mile drive to San Diego. Saturday, we do a 200 mile vintage Japanese car rally. Sunday, another 340 back home.

That is a lot of Sunchasing. This is the most driving the car has gotten since I bought it, but it is the biggest reason I love old Japanese cars. They are durable and reliable. That little 22R is a workhorse. Don’t try this in an Alfa. At least not a new Giulia. ;)
