Yes...sorta...probably. I mean, there is clearly enough clearance, torque (renegade’s problem) and traction to force it to do the occasional mild trail, but I have to wonder how its going to hold up to that kind of abuse. My guess is that the transmission is going to hate you pretty quickly if you did this even semi-often. Its hard on transmission fluid to be subject to this kind of out of lock TC slipping, that plus the fact that I suspect that the rear drive unit is also cooled with trans fluid (and that it also requires slipping to work) makes me wonder if doing this is a good idea at all, even if it “can” do it.
