Just bought some tusq saddles, mostly for looks. Here’s the surgery:

The ABR-1 bridge was a lot simpler than the one on my LP as it didn’t have any weird clips to deal with. Just screw the saddles in and push the part down onto the bridge.

But oh no! That’s not right; the screws were angled too high and were in the way of the string. Trip to the hardware store oncoming...

I bought a file and began saving down the underside of “arms” of the saddles. Cocaine everywhere.

The color doesn’t quite match the binding, but I still think it looks better. I replaced the knobs too.
