Regardless of how many pedals it has, the CLK63 is an incredible piece of hardware.

I was lucky enough to get to sit in one many years ago when they were still new, and it really is a brutal and special car. The bulging fenders, the beautiful CF bodywork (so many ducts and diffusers), the adjustable suspension, that herculean engine, and the biggest brakes and seat bolsters you'd ever seen. I drove every other AMG model in the lineup that day, and sat in the half-million-dollar SLR Roadster, but I would have traded that all for a spin in this beast. The CLK63 Black Series is as close as you can get to a DTM car for the streets.


Only 367 CLK Black's were sold in the U.S. for the 2008 model year, at a retail price of $140,000. And now, you can get one that has only been driven 10,000 miles per year for a third of that. Too many miles? $60k gets you a car with 30k miles on it. Now THAT is a bargain.
