It started with the idea of getting a cheap MIG to learn arc welding on (I know how to mostly not ruin what I’m working on with oxy-aceteylene) and it has now turned into a decent MIG machine and a cheap-ass plasma cutter and now I’ve started looking at the multi-mode machines... there are a few MIG-TIG-stick (no cutter) that’re 110v... and a few TIG-stick-cut (no MIG) that’re 110v... I remember seeing a 4-in-1 that does all four, but it was both expensive and 230v only... blah, I should probably stick with the MIG + cheap cutter...
