I ride my bike into London whenever I have to go there - about 60 miles from home.

My office is in central London and I need to go once every two weeks or so. I hate trains and the underground, and driving is out of the question so the bike is ht sonly option.

Riding in London is a unique experience, and one I think I've mastered.

Here's my guide to riding in London.

Nelson Piquet once said that competing in the Monaco Grand Prix was like riding a bicycle round your bathroom. Riding a motorcycle in central London is like riding a bicycle in your bathroom but there are ten other cyclists, marksmen standing in the bath, the floor is full of potholes and every now and again a bus drives through the middle of it.
