The Chrysler Crossfire is lovable little thing that, while not perfect, is a diamond in the rough. And while it's not exactly spoken of in common automotive dialogue, it's far from truly forgotten. Forgotten is a literally a car that even those hipster-ish car nerds that won't talk about any post-2000 car have forgotten, and yet either offered something unique and interesting in their time, or otherwise had an oddball charm all their own.

Here's a list of a few of my favorites:

Vauxhall Firenza

AMC SC/Rambler

Buick Reatta

Mercury Capri (1979-1994 US)

Dodge Spirit R/T

Chrysler Phantom R/T

Plymouth Neon ACR

Chevrolet Citation X11

Ford Escort ZX2 S/R

Oldsmobile Achieva SCX W41

Ford SVT Contour

Saturn Ion Red Line

Ford Thunderbird SC

Ford EXP

...And the list goes on.

If you're bored and you want to nerd out on obscure automotive knowledge, go look these little buggers up. They aren't the greatest things in the world, but, as I said, they offered something interesting and unique, and are largely forgotten today. They're cool little things, and fun to read about. Then keep an eye out for them on the road - finding one is like stumbling across a diamond in a porta-potty. Incredibly rare, yet oddly gratuitous.
