Got the new carb on. Went from a 750 w/ vacuum secondaries to a 650 Double Pumper. The trans slips and it feels a little underpowered (I’m thinking timing), but it runs fairly well. I myself still haven’t driven it, and I’m a bit wary of it (the history is not positive- never ever ran well) but I’m just giddy. The feeling of being in it on a warm day, and the smell of the interior takes me back to when I was a happy little boy riding in the coolest goddamn car he ever saw. THAT’S why I’m a gear head.
