When he asked me to be involved with the cover artwork, I was excited. I was so excited that I got straight to work and created a cover before even saying “yes.”
Unfortunately, It wasn’t exactly what he had in mind.
I learned a valuable lesson that day. I learned that it’s best if you let the client tell you what they want before making anything.
After getting a little direction, we ended up coming up with the cover, as well as the other green stuff you might see floating around near him on the internet.
