Slowly, the Saab and I are reaching a detente. After it’s breakdown on the 400 mile road trip and subsequent resurrection, I have been somewhat hesitant to drive it to work. Mostly the idea of breaking down in rush hour when I have someplace to be is... unpleasant. Unfortunately, this is the bulk of my driving these days, but I am trying to make the Saab my designated “errand runner” for the moment.
Trust is a hard thing. When I car is running and you’re always waiting for the other shoe to drop it can be stressful and frustrating, but it worth it. A car that isn’t driven needs to be owned by someone else.
Eventually it will get back to commute duty, but for the time being I’m just going to side-eye it as I jump into the Volvo...
