I'm kind of wondering....


F1 engines next year will have a huge increase in energy recovery system capacity.This is all well and good but i'm thinking a small failure in any of these systems will be a disaster for the driver/team. I'm guessing a car can keep going depending on the failure (as they have in the past) but losing up to 30% of the engine power* and/or a non working turbo will make a car pretty much useless

*I'm not sure the actual numbers.Just going by vague memory of something i read
