Since this seems to be a daily thing for now, I've added a Second Cup tag for shits and giggles.  Welcome back!  Here, have some fantastic pictures to start your day out right.  Also, I feel obligated to mention that most of the pictures I post are from the Coolamundo! tumblr, which you can find at  Enjoy.

José Froilán González racing to 3rd place for Maserati in the 1953 Frend Grand Prix.  The A6GCM had 197hp by this time from a 1,970cc DOHC inline 6.  100hp/L 60 years ago - pretty impressive.

Nissan Skyline GT-R JGTC.  I have noooooooo idea about this car, except it might be RWD.

A personal favorite of mine is the Allard K2 (this one is apparently a 1952 model).  The K2 was introduced in 1950 and had the best of English styling and American power, made available with options from Chrylser (1st gen HEMI), Cadillac (331ci OHV V8) and Mercury (255ci flathead V8).  These usually go for around $100k at auction depending on racing history and engine.

The 1970 Mazda RX-500 Concept.  With a mid-mounted 247hp 10A rotary engine and a curb weight of 1,873lb it could scoot up to 125mph.  The 10A in this was reportedly supposed to be the new 12A, but I doubt it.
