Finally got the rear windows of my Honda Fit (2010) to roll down. They’d been stuck for several months, and I thought maybe the switches had both stopped working. As it turns out, I just had to hold them both down for several seconds. One after the other, each window made a slight squirming sound and then slowly descended into the door as though nothing was wrong. Maybe they just got stuck after months of disuse. Anyway, now I can drive around on these warm summer evenings without air conditioning and without the front windows letting excessive wind into my face. If for no other reason than to be able to roll the rear windows down, I can see why someone might prefer a four-door hatchback to an equivalent two-door.
