Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. It pours dark as night with a thick brown head. Absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Enjoy your Saturday night, Oppo.
Tried this tonight. Einstok toasted Porter from Iceland. Pretty good...goes nice with cappuccino ice cream.
I’m enjoying a very nice Dorothy, it has a great little tart finish.
Figured I should reward myself. After all, it is Friday.
Had the Craftsman last night, good stuff. The Scotch is for the upcoming winter.
Paging Übel I guess.
...and had to sell it :( For those of you who refuse to peruse the kinjaverse, check it out here. Or read the conveniently copy and pasted reply here on Oppo:
No not this. I am still trying to find a good, relatively cheap, and small truck to use for light work and general transportation... generally something that’s fairly difficult to find here in New Hampshire. Here’s where I might catch a break though, an old hockey coach of mine owns the largest beer distributor in the…
Drinking a Turbo Cougar from Devils Backbone. It’s a blond bock lager. Pretty tasty
This beer is amazing, try it out if you have the chance! Nice sour ale with a tangy mango finish
Beer should wait till the appropriate season before being released. It was 94 yesterday and the only seasonal beer available was fall pumpkin. Though I love pumpkin with a maple syrup/cinnamon rim it isn’t the time. Almost as bad as Christmas advertising.
I hate to say it guys, but I must admit I do love me some high life. Even better out of the bottle. $11 18-packs in college were the go to and the bottles make a nice sound when they break...http://jezebel.com/shitty-beer-is...
Specifically, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co in Buellton. Oh, and the van was good too, picking it up early next week.
And I bought some things...
Tried my first IPA today.
Counterpoint to this: IPAs can be amazing. Case in point, I stumbled upon this really hard to find (in my area) bottle of joy at lunch, and grabbed 3.
My dad has horrible taste in beer. Well not horrible. He likes to try craft beer, but he doesn’t have much of a discerning palette for any of them. He likes a lot of the pseudo-craft brews that are honestly either just meh or really shitty (shipyard, magic hat, harpoon, etc.) and when he doesn’t buy those (presumably…
Every Texan knows the awesomeness that is Shiner beer, They’ve had a summer seasonal out for a few weeks now that’s flavored with prickly pear cactus fruit. My fellow Tejanos probably know them better as tunas from nopales.
