Whatcha drinking tonight, Oppo?
I’m enjoying Eggplant Parmesan and Pilsner Urquell.
I just had my first pour from my shiny new uKeg from Growlerwerks. I ordered the thing over a year ago and it’s finally here! CO2 cartridges go in the cap and keep the whole thing pressurized and O2-free. It’s basically the greatest thing ever.
I’m trying to lose weight, so I’m limiting myself to one beer.
I got a lot of random free beer from a coworker today, and to make room in my fridge I decided to drink some of what I already had in there. I had two blonde ales from different Virginia breweries, so I thought I’d drink them both to compare and contrast them.
Hooray beer! I wonder if any of these can one-up Gamecat.
Boozy, chocolate, with some cherry and vanilla. It’s like a liquid sunday. Good stuff.
So I am celebrating with Guinness and “potatoes.” I’m not a fan of corned beef and cabbage. I usually make a nice Irish stew, but no one else was interested so I didn’t feel like it this year.
From the Deep Woods series this is a tasty and very boozy (only 10.4% ABV) Wee Heavy Scotch Ale. I have a 6 am meeting tomorrow, so I’ll be killing this bottle tonight. What are you drinking tonight?
Feck me this is some good stuff, just released yesterday and brewed locally.
I prefer beers that insult me.
Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. It pours dark as night with a thick brown head. Absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Enjoy your Saturday night, Oppo.
Tried this tonight. Einstok toasted Porter from Iceland. Pretty good...goes nice with cappuccino ice cream.
I’m enjoying a very nice Dorothy, it has a great little tart finish.
Figured I should reward myself. After all, it is Friday.
Had the Craftsman last night, good stuff. The Scotch is for the upcoming winter.
Paging Übel I guess.
...and had to sell it :( For those of you who refuse to peruse the kinjaverse, check it out here. Or read the conveniently copy and pasted reply here on Oppo:
No not this. I am still trying to find a good, relatively cheap, and small truck to use for light work and general transportation... generally something that’s fairly difficult to find here in New Hampshire. Here’s where I might catch a break though, an old hockey coach of mine owns the largest beer distributor in the…
