Photos were shot on a Nikon D3000 from the June Sarasota Cars and Coffee. More photos to follow soon!
I don’t feel like writing up a big thing about this morning’s C&C. It was good, I suppose. Here’s the pictures.
For a thing. But not a VW Thing. After the Jump
First time venturing out to this one. Attendance was a bit lower than the other regular C&C at Rosana Square but the cars themselves did not disappoint.
Took some time to explore the former gravel quarry after which the park is named. There’s still some original equipment lying around, such as rail car wheels and some processing machinery. Some of the remnants have been repurposed as picnic chairs and fire pits.
I didn’t get to go but apparently this guy did.
As anyone who has seen my articles before or my followers would know (all 6 of you, let’s change that guys), I try to get you guys cool car content in a way no one else can like a Minivan or a Piruses on a Formula 1 track (those articles coming soon, videos already up).
Small turnout today due to other shows in the “area”, but some neat stuff nonetheless.
There was no lack of awesome iron in the parking. And with weather that good it would be a total loss if it was. This month was horrible however. There was only one exit available to leave from and it jammed everything up. Usually I sneak in some rolling shots in the parking lot, but there was none of that this month.
“Hey guy, thanks for running into my truck...”
First one starts May 7th. Any Torontoppos want to meet up?
There were several last year and I missed them. Facebook group for this seems abandoned. Has anyone heard whether they’re gonna do more this year, or was it only a 2016 event?
And, I still love this car:
Here are some Ferraris and other cool cars from Piazza GranTurismo last weekend / last month. Plus a few random pics of my car.
Did some basic maintenance on my Viper ACR. Oil change and lowered the front end a bit more!
Strange, I felt like I was there last month. A tickle in my throat and all around sick feeling. I literally rolled from my bed into my car. I bought a new tripod (Manfrotto 055) and was itching to try it out with my fluid head, damn this getting sick again business. Goodbye wobbly no name tripod! It was nice working…
The first start on my trip was spectacular. I couldn’t ask for a better day to have a car show, and even though no spectacular exotics showed up, I really couldn’t complain about the amount of diversity that ended up showing up. And there was some really good people out as well. Here are the highlights.
I will be going to one of them tomorrow to flex the ole ballpoint. I see one in Scottsdale and one in Cave Creek. Which is better?
Surprised to see some of the things that showed up. Especially one very special porsche... enjoy.
