This month I hitched a ride with Collin, a friend I have met through this awesome YouTube hobby. We spent an hour in line, donated for Toys For Tots and somehow still found parking for his Deuce and a Half.
I was a bit late, but I still made it to the party.
C&C event this morning in Portola Valley, CA. Haven’t exercised my DSLR in a while!
Lancia Delta HF (Integrale??). Not sure which exact model this is, but based on the fender flares I think it’s an Integrale? Regardless, very very cool car to show up to the Lafayette, CO Cars & Coffee yesterday.
So I was feeling like crap for the latter half of last week. I worked out of the house Thursday and Friday, and naturally Friday was my worst day. People were asking me if I was going to go, and I simply replied that it was up in the air. I was supposed to ride out with a new friend of mine in his deuce and a half…
After a year of not going to any Cars & Coffee events, I decided to head back this past Saturday.
Our friends from across the pond have given us many great things, like dry humor, Top Gear (before “Sandwichgate”), and
proving to the rest of the world that they’re just as good at fucking things up as us Americans sports cars.
Another month, another cars and coffee. Nothing could prepare me for the sheer onslaught of NSX’s at the show. I have seen my fair share, but they never fill up an entire lane. Sure, there was an EVO who snuck in the lineup, but since they are no longer made (and I really enjoyed reviewing the EVO X) I forgive the…
Every other month a local European shop does a cars and coffee. These are much smaller than the ones that Harpers Auto Square(Knoxville’s Porsche, Audi, Acura, Infiniti, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Volkswagen, and Fiat dealer) puts on two or three times a year.
I was so tired I could barely hold my camera. There was a fintail though so hey.
Car and Driver put on a pretty epic Cars and Coffee yesterday morning over at the M1 Concourse. I drooled a lot, enjoy the pics.
Got up early and arrived at Engineered Automotive with some beautiful weather! Brought out my Canon T6s with a Tamron 18-200 mm lens and I must say it went quite well. One of the issues I had was that the JPEG duplicate of the RAWs sometimes looked better than I could edit the RAWs themselves (balancing colours and…
Every Cars & Coffee event should have a requirement that a race prepped Jaguar be in attendance. I wish I got a better look at it, but I had my two little 2 year old tornadoes with me.
Edited pics to be up sooner or later from Toronto C&C.
Sharing for those of you who appreciate beautiful cars along with an ugly GT40. Could someone please grant oppo authorship to corkscrew’d? Here is a photo of the ugly GT40 as tribute.
I seem to have the strangest experiences with the admin for my local cars and coffee, however, I always like to work off the assumption that maybe I’m being the asshole. Am I? Let’s dissect.
The weather was really nice, but it was a bit more muted than it would have been. This was undoubtedly because of the Hurricane related gas shortage (aka: media fueled gas hoarding frenzy). All I am saying is that I am glad all my cars and even my bike drink 87 octane! No problems filling them up when they ran empty.
As usual, here is a photodump of things I found interesting at the Charlotte Cars and Coffee today. This is not representative of the actual turn out in any way. I didn’t even take pictures of the supercars this time except the Miura and the SuperLite. The fun question is: Would you rather buy a 2005 Lotus Elise for…
Took these last weekend at a Cars & Coffee. What does Oppo think?
As I was cooking meatloaf the Friday before Cars and Coffee the power nearly went out 2 times. It was my first time cooking meatloaf so it was perfect timing for a thunderstorm. In the end the meatloaf came out great, and the storm dissipated shortly after. The wife was happy, I was happy... But what about cars and…
