Soooo, yeah, Cars and Coffee time. I was actually off work this time so I was able to go. The selection of cars wasn’t the greatest, but there was some surefire oddities about. The best part though is getting to meet a fellow Oppo, that being Mr. Daily Drives a Dragon (who will probably appear eventually maybe).…
Woe is me.
First full season with the mustang pretty much over..has been loads of fun. I’ve vastly improved my skills and really learned the car. Tires were a huge improvement...probably going to gets some shocks and a sway bar for next season.
I wasn’t planning on going today but hey, not going to complain.
1st and 3rd Saturday mornings at the Starbucks right off the I-480 Valley View bridge is an informal C&C - the best kind. Being about halfway between the eastern suburbs and the west side of Cleveland, there are usually a very nice showing of cars. If the weather is clear. Fortunately, this weekend was one of the last…
Weather was hot... Cops were thick as thieves... All ingredients for a sub par experience at Cars and Coffee Dallas. The first can’t be helped, this is Texas after all, and a year is not complete without getting close to heat stroke due to your love for cars and the creative process. The second... well. We got those…
After the last C&C concluded with record high attendance (400 cars approx.), I really couldn’t see how the following event could have topped it. You can imagine how surprised I was, then, when I arrived at Engineered Automotive this past Sunday to find the space completely full of cars. At 8:30 AM. Car people are…
The Rise & Drive meet-up was not very well attended by the Oppomeet, but those who did missed quite a show!
Well it was a good C&C, only a few modern cars, all the real guys came out for hot August mornings C&C. SOme very quirky stuff as Marin can produce. Weird, creative people with money are all around here and some love old cars. A lot of cars came, not sure how many, I’ve never seen it spill into three parking sections…
It’s the weekend! It’s summer! You’re probably out enjoying yourself, possibly attending a Cars & Coffee where a Ferrari got mutilated by a Mercedes, or some other car events. Show us what you did this weekend!
So, things were a bit awkward this morning at Cars and Coffee, as we were greeted with half of the parking lot dug up in construction. The space was much lower and the turnout was fewer than expected, but I still had a good time, met some people, talked, and of course, took photos.
It started off nice and gradually got hot but there was still a good turnout even though half the lot was blocked for something.
A few shots of things I liked. All full resolution. Enjoy!
He must have been leaving a Cars & Spanish Coffee...
Renault GTA convertible. It doesn’t get any more 80s than that.
This week’s Cars & Coffee Car of the Week is a Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 that I spotted at Hunt Valley Horsepower in Cockeysville, MD.
Enjoy your Independence Day / 4th of July!
Oh Texas... The winters are usually not that bad (we had ZERO frost this year...) and that means Cars and Coffee year round. But the flip side to this all? Summer... The ability of that copper scoundrel* to heat up the DFW area in the early morning is amazing. Hydration is a must!
And lots of stuff showed up!
