I am going into senior year of an engineering degree and as a result, I am starting my capstone project. I am in plastics engineering (kinda a mix of mech and Chem) and would like to do something auto related.
If you are going to be at NSBE come by and say hi.
It’s gonna be a hella of a time
College is all about experiences, my experiences so far have been nothing but fruitful and if I may, blessed.
Hello. I am in college and looking for guidance.
Saw this as I was leaving the grocery store. He was leaving the same time I was, looked to be around 18 and almost immediately jumped on my “you drive a Ferrari and probably drive it exclusively to and from the mall/grocery store, I hate you, and I’m jealous” list.
Asian cockroaches: Small, agile, and talented fliers. Somehow, one wound up in my hostel room. Finding and killing it took a very long time due to the fact that the bastard can really move. And can go places a human can't (on the ceiling as in the pic).
Coming up on my senior year I’m faced with a familiar set of choices. Do I get a job and start working ASAP or do I try for grad school? I mean whats an extra few grand in debt at this point right?
In exactly one month from today I will restlessly lay awake in the middle of the night, pondering my future and washing out the looming anxiety attacks with episodes of Top Gear on Netflix, for the next day will be the day I move to Charlotte, NC.
I already knew that job hunting after undergrad would be tough, but now I really feel like I’m going to be stuck at my grocery job forever. Thank goodness I have some video editing/design skills to freelance with for the time being (and the internship), but I kinda want to cry right now for how depressed I am.
Just found out about a unique job opportunity for Americans who live in the Midwest but don’t like being on the Midwest. So at 7pm west coast time I have to turn in a Philosophy final. I am a business major and I'm only taking this class to meet a GE requirement. My brain is optimized for analyzing spreadsheets and business cases, and when you ask it to analyze Guy Debord or similar theorists my brain is pretty useless.
Fuck me sideways......Failed my PLS final last night.....FUCK.
Driving an 86 RX7 in late 1996. Listening to the rotors and knowing that they'll fail at some point and it doesn't matter because there will be snow and ice and a guardrail at about 7AM but history notwithstanding you'll make it home.
...Drive me absolutely insane. Are people in the workforce as incompetent as the people I'm stuck with this semester? For one term paper for our group of 4 people, 1 guy always says he will contribute, but never does. 1 guy contributes a shitton of unusable writing. And only me and the last dude are actually writing…
Taking the ACT again tomorrow... for the third time! Shooting for a 33, currently sitting at a 29. For me, a 29 is pretty good, but the parents made me a deal two years ago that for every point over a 30 they would pay me 100 dollars per point... pretty good incentive I would say :P If I do well enough I will get an…
And I found a F-Type S in a parking lot.
