Shoutout to Chevy for bringing some SEMA cars to the race.
Team Oppo took to the track again this week. This time for a little shootout at Daytona. This was part of the Official A Fixed Setup Series that I have been running for the past 12 weeks. I found this scheme hiding in my paint files and decided to bring it out for Team Oppo.
I went to the race. I took some pictures. Stayed in a shitty motel because I’m not as hardcore as the pros who stayed the whole 24. It was cold. Sometimes wet. Definitely worth it.
The FOX race broadcast is now on YouTube! Direct upload from IMSA, but now in 720P and
without with radiolemans commentary !! (it would appear this is the archived feed from the live stream everyone would have been watching, minus the TV overlays).
I was pretty selective about what I was shooting this year, but now I almost feel like I was too picky. Oh well. Photo dump coming soon
What an amazing double header. Proud to be Canadian.
But I think we can all say with confidence that the RCF has shown incredible pace, when it was working. GTD is going to be amazing this year.
Two normal length WTSC races to go, and exciting GT racing the entire way (hopefully).
The PC cars are having a rollercoaster of a race, aren’t they.
Seriously, what OEM supplied those headlights??
This should be fun.
Another PC smashes itself into the banking. And then there were 4.
More exciting than the old Corvette DPs? Hard to say for certain. They’re definitely a lot closer.
480p direct from imsatv with radiolemans commentary.
I’m excited. That is all.
My camera hadn’t been put to good use in a while and I was getting the itch to smell some race gas, so last weekend I went to the Sebring Classic 12 Hour. Being a few hours from both Sebring and Daytona, I was able to choose between this and the Ferrari Finali Mondiali. I was originally planning to head to Daytona on…
yes i’m aware it’s only a tuner jobbie.
It’s slightly damp at Daytona. Maybe we can do some boat racing there?
