My dad and I haven’t enjoyed an ideal father-son relationship. In fact it was mostly terrible, but not “cut you out of my life” terrible except for a few times. Father’s Day remains one of the days where my stomach churns all day until I work up the nerve to call Dad with well-wishes and awkwardly run down the list…
It’s my first Father’s Day. Chandler and his mom got me matching shirts for me and Chandler, a framed picture with Chandler’s handprints and Ginger’s paw prints, a “What would Johnny Cash do?” pillow that matches our living room, a custom printed book of Chandler and Ginger pictures, and WeatherTech in-channel vent…
I got to sleep in this morning. My wife made me an amazing breakfast. I got to watch the new Roadkill undesturbed. I even got a few Hot Wheels and a new wallet (which I desperately needed!). Giant bone-in ribeye will be for dinner. So, pretty much best Father’s Day ever. Hope all you other dads are having a good one!

My Dad snapped this one way back when I had the Neon
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! The ones on or off of Oppo and Jalopnik. :)
Thanks paragraph after the jump about how awesome my dad is.
This is for you, you know who you are, the ones that chose the noble route instead of the Noble M14 route. Happy Fathers Day! May your ownership of impractical cars be replaced with happy memories of your adorable children. I know you wouldn't have it any other way.
Going to take my dad to Fenders on Front Street for Fathers Day. Hopefully the weather holds.

So tools, the go to for most people, he does not need.
Field of Dreams ranks up there in my Top-10 favorite movie list. Is it because I never "had a catch" with my dad? Maybe. The bum left when I was 4. He did have a sweet yellow Celica ST. I remember that much.
Unpopular words among scale model manufacturers: "1972," "Charger," "Fiesta Green." The model pictured is 1/18 and $59.95 and is the closest I could get to what my dad had as a young adult. What concerns me (and I guess that feels bad to say) is the price; I mean, $60 is about $60 more than what I spent for Mother's…
My dad seems to be pretty nostalgic for his old booger (or barf, depending on who you ask) green Charger (not pictured) and I'd like to do something short of buying him one for Father's Day. I was thinking either arting him up a portrait of one or going the easy route with some kind of scale model (a completed model,…
