Just saw this rental supercar trifecta down on the street. Sorry for crap photo, I was halfway through a 3 mile run and took it mid-stride. Anyway, Carrera S Cabrio, California non-T, and Godzilla: Whatcha got?
A Cassis Red 911, looks nice on the 928 too imo
Although summer seems to have taken the whole “rage against the dying of the light” thing quite literally in the Midwest, it sadly won’t last. Soon the humidity and heat will finally drop off, the road works projects will both proliferate and grind to a halt, and the wildlife will change. Most are too fragile to…
I presume it’s this one ... https://www.legendcarcompany.com/1970-porsche-911t-targa-c-220.htm?sold=Available&
Apparently Tire Rack sent me a full set of Porsche 911 Koni yellows and H&R springs. And with their complete lack of customer feedback over the past couple months I don’t feel like they’ll be the ones to resolve this. There likely was a very confused 911 owner this summer.
The 911 is becoming more mobile again! The oil leak has been fixed, and the brakes will be rebuilt and serviced properly. Pictures and more detail below.
It’s very 911-focused.
The only way I can afford to buy a Magnus Walker Porsche!
You’re welcome. [Evening repost]

My GT2 configurer
Car and Driver has a pretty solid generation by generation overview of the 911 generations. I particularly like that you can see the lengths of each car compared.
Yesterday was Father’s Day, so, Prestone, one of the leading makers of coolants, antifreeze, radiator flushing compounds, and other car-juices, put up some sentimental pro-dad content on their social media accounts. There was just one problem: the car they chose was one of the few that has no need for the products…
You’ve seen the very best driveway in the neighborhood. Now it’s time for the silver medal, also documented with my trademark photography style: taken with a potato while being walked by some dogs.
This is something that I’ve been repeating ever since I was a kid. As much as I like the 991, I like the 996 just a little bit more.
This guy has real talent. Seriously. If this were scripted it would feel really forced but this guy nails it. The framing, the awkward stares, the glitter, it really doesn’t get better. TGIF.
Here are more of my photos from a few weeks ago at The Mitty. Enjoy!
The stars have aligned, prayers have been answered, and I can move from the world of really cool fast great handling sports cars (i.e. Audi S5, ZHP 330 CI M sport, Porsche Boxster, Jag S Type R, 135) into a super car.
It’s hard to believe that I’ve put over 16,000 miles in the year and a half I’ve owned this thing! The idle didn’t seem right and it started to even seem a bit down on power.
