With the front suspension measurements sorted, it was time to figure out what to do with the rear. The design of the mounting flange is completely different from any of the MR2 housings, and the struts themselves are sealed units.
Here are more of my photos from a few weeks ago at The Mitty. Enjoy!
Recently I moved down to Virginia for a new job and just happen to be pretty close to a racetrack many of you know ;). This past weekend I was at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). Photographing for the support races, F1600/F2000/Atlantic Championship Series; What can I say about this experience?
All shots are from Friday at The Mitty.
I went to The Mitty at Road Atlanta on Friday. Epic vintage racing! What’s not to love? I’ll probably be throwing small photo-posts on here for a while as I work through my images.
That third red car just was not having any luck, touched, causes the spin in front of him and then lands on other red car who also spun.
You have to admit that this CR-Z is awesome. Is also an SSR M/// as indicated on the front bumper.
I have found two “local” car that I would like to turn into my C4.R. My plan is to buy a 91+ C4 because they are pretty much the same externally and drive it around a little to see the difference. The interior differences don’t really matter since it’ll pretty much all go away except for the main dash, but that will…
This would be perfect for the C4.R Build I want to do...
Race car rant...
Oh, the things I’d do if I had the space and money. This would make a really fun/cheap track car and at-least-every-once-in-a-while B-Spec race car. I’m already very familiar with the chassis, too.
I was pretty selective about what I was shooting this year, but now I almost feel like I was too picky. Oh well. Photo dump coming soon
This thing is known in my area as the Unicorn because it’s rarely seen anymore but he did do a video with Hoonigan so there is that.
Now mine has more.
A 323 GTX said goodbye to it’s internals today so that another could go on. Because the rallycar must go on.
