4/3 rumors has a picture from p13 digital media's Twiter feed claiming that many of the aerial shots on Top Gear are shot with a multi-rotor aerial platform (that's a given I suppose) but, surprise, they are using a very inexpensive (~$500) but very good Panasonic GH2 camera. probably because its light, has 5d Mark II beating resolution and can be hacked to well over 100 mbps. As someone who uses one professionally as a B camera and Personally as their A camera, this makes me happy.
