Alright Oppo it’s been a long time since my last post and since then I’ve sold my highly unreliable E53 X5 and purchased (in house finance)a MK V Jetta. I was promptly rear ended by a driver and pushed into the car in good ol’ DMV traffic on the way to work a week after I got the car. Instead of using the insurance check to fix the front end damage which pretty much seems like brackets may have been broken and maybe the hood bent looks pretty decent. This has been a very reliable car with great gas mileage. Only other issue I’ve had is the sweltering summer heat has caused the headliner to fall and now need a flex pipe.

Ok now time to the dilemma. The dealership I work for and that I financed the car wants to make a trade, my 2005 Jetta 2.5 for a 2004 B5 A4 Quattro with the 1.8t engine. They have had the car in their inventory for a while and are tired of dumping money into it. It probably needs about $600 or so to get to where it to retail sellable condition but they are just tired and want to unload it. If I take the car off their hands they’ll cancel my debt on the other car.
