Well, I'm having both arms operated on. Left side was done 6 weeks-ish ago, cast comes off Tuesday, then rehab, then the right side. I'm on medical leave until November. The ECU tendon came out of it's sheath, so it wraps around my wrist bone and "pops" when it catches. It's done it for as long as I can remember, but the last year or so it became super painful. Other more traditional ailments like tendonitis and carpal tunnel kind of added to it to the point where even gripping the torch was a chore.
Even while working 100+ hours a week I'm kind of a social media whore, but right now it's about the only thing keeping me sane. I was kind of naive going into this, didn't realize how truly limited I'd be. Thanks for indulging me.
