Today marks the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War I. The war showed the consequences of what happens when petty grudges, racial fear, greed and the inertia of national war machines come together. Millions were killed, whole regions were laid waste. The end result didn’t warrant the expedeture of lives. War rarely does. We need to remember this.
If you don’t know much about the war, go find the Hardcore History podcast discussing it. It is very well done.
