On Saturday I helped a friend make his ‘65 Chevelle convertible look like a car again so that he could sell it.
We were looking forward to completely rebuilding the car, which he inherited from his dad. But he is moving to Europe and selling his cars. At least we didn’t labor over it, THEN find that he needed to sell it.
So, we put fenders, grille, hood and trunk back on, put the head back on the inline 6 that was about to be pulled and junked, put interior parts back, and pulled the many, many replacement parts back inside. The buyer has a lot of work to do, but is getting a great deal.
