Reddit’s Just Rolled into the Shop is a veritable cornucopia of the many wonders and oddities of shop lyfe. You never know what’s gonna roll in. Here’s what caught my eye this week.

The car has TWO, count em TWO OBDII ports, but only one has the OBD protocols. And you can’t see either of them. I took this picture with my phone facing backward. I only found the port by feeling for it, and then I plugged into the wrong one. The smog machine kept saying it had no communication. I checked my machine and it was fine. Then the customer comes back, after going to their regular shop, and they told me I plugged into the wrong port. I was confused but looked at it. I pulled out my phone and discovered the second port.

I’ve heard stories of it happening, Never thought it would happen to me. It caught my foot on the way down. If it wasnt for my boots I probably wouldn’t have any toes left.
