3 km hike in 80% humidity

The views though.

It’s 8pm over here and my friend and I are about to go to the “party” side of the island for some drinks.

Phi Phi is split up by sections, with an entire half being dedicated to partying late into the night on the beach as well as hostels, a quarter for hotels and nicer restaurants, and a quarter for a more local vibe. That’s where the cheap food is oppo. Had a dragonfruit shake, two Thai pancakes and the best phad Thai of my life. Something like $4 USD for all of it.

Going during the off-season is definitely the move. The party area is still full enough to have a good time, but it’s also easy to find your own areas without throngs of vacationers. And the weather has been amazing.
