Good day opponauts - I need a bit of help.

I had made a post a while back about an S10 build with my boys. That build is underway and we decided to go the 3800 S/C route out of a 2002 Grand Prix GTP.

Now, I’ve already looked into ZZPerformace for different parts. I was curious for people more familiar with these motors - is it possible to get 500 reliable HP out of the supercharger, or is going turbo my best option. I ask simply because I’d rather keep the S/C for stupid aesthetic reasons, and I love the sound. Everywhere I’ve looked online says the best route for HP is turbo, but I really don’t want to do that.

I’ve seen info regarding the Gen III S/C swap, as well as the M112 off the Cobra’s, finding a used Whipple kit, and finally, if I really wanted to blow cash, there are companies in Australia that I can order parts from, but I’d really rather not go down that rabbit hole.

So here is the goal: 500HP from a 3800 Series II motor (S/C preferred).
RWD application - trans is a mild 4L80E (mostly stock) that was a junk yard pull with a basic refresh and into a GM 8.5" 10 bolt 3:42 rearend.
