Behold an Anglia.

From Ford of Britain (hence the name!), preceded the Mk1 Escort. The Escort was a Ford of Europe car, made in both Germany and the UK. Exactly the same in each case with one crucial difference - Ford Britain made their ones in Imperial units, Ford Germany used metric.

The Mk2 gave up on the feet and inches and was metricated wherever it was made.

Top trivia: the Anglia used the same radiator as its predecessor and so retained a hole where you could have inserted a starting handle.
