French Air Force A400M at Auckland Airport. It’s here to repatriate some Tahitian citizens.

We got a good look at the A400 last year when the RNZAF were considering it to replace their ancient C130s (Airbus lost that bid: they’re going with C130Js), but aircraft wearing the Tricolore are NOT common round here: the French military has not been on good terms with New Zealand since a certain incident involving nuclear weapons and state-sponsored terrorism back in the 1980s.
