Yes, folks, we have doors!
A pair of mighty fine doors that open and close and can be locked and once they are trimmed out will even be weather-tight!
Yeah, I’m a little excited.
I also made a new friend today. I was working on the anchors and discovered that someone had moved into one of the holes.
I had to encourage him to move out so I wouldn’t squish him while trying to drive in the anchor. I now have three of the four anchors driven in with the straps attached.
I also had to mow, so I tried firing up the mower. No dice. I finally decided that it might be a battery issue, so I grabbed a car battery and gave the mower a jump. It fired right up. It still needs a new starter, but it’s good to know that I can get it running if needed.
As a final hurrah for the day, a couple of interesting aircraft flew over.
Two different powered paraglider trikes. That first one looked rigged for tandem. The skies were overcast and the winds low, so it was perfect for these guys. I spotted a fellow flying a standard paramotor (foot launch) several times, but I haven’t seen him in four or five years. Perhaps he found a buddy and upgraded.
I need to get out and fly.
