If your Ford had a Matthew McConaughey, it would be a Lincoln

All Booty and No Boot

So I was looking for RX-# pictures for Wankel Wednesday, I found this, the Mazda 2 saloon. I had no idea this existed, but now I see it I see an annoying problem with cars like this. The rising waistline itself is not the issue, but for this saloon version it rises too high and ends in a short boot, which just makes it look very heavy at the back, as well as making the rear wheel look tiny, which it doesn't on the hatchbacks. Other 2/Fiesta/Swift-sized cars turned into 4-doors do this as well. Is it a safety thing? Does it have a high floor at the back? To be honest I've never understood having a saloon this size anyway...
