So a few days ago, Pixel, in his post, was lamenting the amount of work that his moto needed... And I offered that the amount of work his bike needed wasn’t really a big deal.. Included in the needed work was replacing the fork seals.. which I casually dismissed as part of the equation of owning motorbikes. Well, dammit, I forgot to knock on wood...

After almost two weeks of ridiculously warm temps here in Colorado, in which I’ve had the moto out and about.. well, pulled a giant wheelie this weekend and I guess it was the straw that broke the camel’s seals... Both of my fork seals are leaking now.... One’s just oozing a sheen of oil.. the other’s completely blown and puking oil....

But checked my notes, I got 5000 kms out of one seal and about 4300 km on the other.... Not bad for a GS bike.. But if I’d knocked on wood I feel I could of gotten a fair amount more.....
