If you don’t currently watch PBS, you should. They really have some great programming if you’re into nature/science/history. Case in point: this installment of American Experience. It covers the last few weeks of the Vietnam war as the NVA is closing in on Saigon and the South Vietnamese residents and remaining U.S. service personnel and diplomatic staff scramble to leave.

It’s a fascinating and heart-wrenching look into the sheer chaos of the evacuation.
