I attended an industry breakfast this morning at a private club in the city (Vancouver Club). One of the people there actually worked for Toyota as defense counsel during the unintended acceleration debacle and worked on those cases which I was super interested in.

The club was founded in 1889 and has been in the heart of the financial district since. I’ve only been there once before for a lunch so this was my first time walking around.

The breakfast was in a room that was dedicated to the service of members during The Great War and I was greeted by a wall of guns when the door opened on the elevator.

A very interesting morning!
