The machinist told me that it ran great, said he was surprised how well considering the headers after break in have hardly any soot or anything at all in the exhaust ports. That would indicate to me that the camshaft selection was on point. Other good news: the hack job I did painting my headers didn’t flake off, despite me not curing the high heat paint. VHT is some good stuff, I guess.

309 hp ! although mind you, that would be gross hp, not net. so... 280? as a guesstimate. More importantly I think:
Look at that power curve. tasty.
Also the damage incase you are interested. Not too shabby I think.
