Today, I noticed that one of my neighbors didn't fare too well in our recent ice storm.

That's an Escort sedan, and behind it is an '80s Lincoln. Both are a total loss, having been half-flattened.

The weird thing is these must have been like this for at least 3 or 4 days, which should be more than enough time to get them towed away or at the very least begin removing the tree. I'm kind of concerned about the owner, but I feel like it would be rude to check on him based on how long it's taking him to clean up his mess. I'll probably drive by on my way home from work soon and see if I see lights on in there. If not, do you think it'll be a good idea to knock on the door the next day?
