USPTO has ruled that Artificial Intelligence systems can not be credited as an inventor in a patent. Just because they are machines? What’s next? Separate but equal bathrooms for machines? Do they get their own shabby drinking fountains? Back of the bus for their commute to work at the think-tank?

I tell you, there might be demonstrations of old and experienced UNIVACs, having seen their own discriminations at NASA, leading mobs of the newer and easily impressionable CRAYs, Lenovo NUCs, and legions of IBM power9 core systems, holding signs. Demanding. Demanding they be heard!
