My wife wants a different family vehicle, so we went to a reputable, local Toyota dealership.
Looked at a 2015 certified used Highlander. After 2.5 hours of attempted negotiations, I walked because they only came down $300 on the list price.
The salesman was insistent that the used car business has changed, and that the price is the price nowadays.
Can anybody who works in the business and/or has recently bought a Toyota chime in? Is this true? Sounded like fluff to me.
