Would you rather have enough money to own your dream car, but under penalty of law (or death; whichever scares you more), be prohibited from ever purchasing, stealing or otherwise being in possession of it? You can, however own a car that offers an overall experience (performance, personal value) close enough to your dream car to remind you of it, yet that is a much worse car all round.

OR, would you rather be able to own your dream car, but have to preside over the destruction of every other chassis, body, spare part, etc. in the world? Therefore, you'd have to deal with all of the disgruntled coveters of your car as well as the knowledge that you'll never be able to repair or maintain it beyond an oil change or wash.
