My wife picked up our Golf from the repair shop on Friday, and I didn't get to drive it until Saturday. Now, whenever the car gets to 3200-3500 rpms, in any gear, the normal engine note turns to a deep vibration you can feel through the floorboard and the gas pedal. I've been driving the car for 12 years, so I know it's a new sound and vibration. They changed the ignition coil, plugs, wires, and replaced the axle and CV boots on the right site. The noise is not speed related, as it happens in all 5 gears when the engine gets to that specific rpm. Anybody got any ideas?
