Found this beauty at Starbucks today. I went for a disappointing Cappuccino (tall is too big!) and instead found this radical late 80's Tercel 4WD SR5. I didn't know too much about the car itself, but in Edmonton, you immediately notice older cars like this that have no rust. The fact that its a sweet boxy wagon was a bonus.

I have always loved 80's car design. BMWs and Volvos were always my favorites, but I'd easily settle for most imports from around that time. Something about how ugly most of the cars were, the trend to put under-performing engines in them (only 60 HP in these!), and yet carrying a personality that seems hard to find in our all too beige existence now. So many vehicles from that era seem to have a cult following as well. While looking into the car I found Tercel4wd.com. Browsing through the gallery was fantastic.

Congrats to the new owner of this beauty (only just registered). I approve of your quirky taste.
