Subtle and sublime best describes this shade of green. Oxford Green is probably the German way of saying British Racing Green.
The color has been around for 20 years. Here's a wide grille E34 sporting the said color.
This E38 has one of my favorite combinations: Oxford Green on Tan interior. The color does luxury very well.
It also does sport pretty well too, as seen here on this 850CSi. A timeless color on a timeless car.
And here it is on a Z3 coupe. Oddly enough, this color was never offered on the other E36 counterparts. Instead, those got either Dark Green or Boston Green Metallic.
Even if Oxford Green was offered even in plebeian 318i's, it still looked fantastic in the M cars, as seen here on this E46 M3.
If you think Oxford Green Metallic is a color that's planted firmly in the 90's to early 00's, this F13 M6 begs to differ. What's your say on this modern BMW on this classic color? It's definitely unique for sure.
