Diesel engines sure are great, and we love them generally here on Oppositelock and if you don't than nuts to you. The only trouble is that the most common place to find diesels is on big trucks that may or may not be houses and may or may not be single contributors to the cancer rate in one or more zip codes. Sure, you can run biodiesel and WVO in them, but as reader burntartichoke discovered, that has its own problems as well.
