The good people at Autoblog report that the house where Cameron lived in Ferris Bueller's Day off sold for $1 Million dollars, which isn't too bad for a pretty nice mid-century modern home with the above spectacular garage. We are planning a similar garage for our mid-century modern home we are inheriting. It currently has no garage because that wasn't how things were done. It has a simple car port. I'm not sure we'll go with all glass, but our land is on a similar bluff. I'm thinking four car size will be enough, but I'd like to thank Cameron's parents for the inspiration.

In the film, Cameron drives his Dad's Ferrari right out of this beautiful garage into the ravine. Ouch.
