I have some aluminum bits. They are currently bead blasted silver anodized, but anodizing is relatively easy to take off, so I can get that off and polish it down. I’m wanting them to be candy red. What I really want is for it to look like this translucent candy red powdercoat:

But it’s proven to be very hard to find anyone to do a couple pieces in a custom color like that. Then, remember, I asked about anodizing shops, same issue.

So I guess we’re on to paint now. Has anyone used any of the metallic or candy red spraypaints, like duplicolor metalcast:

which is supposedly just a tinted clearcoat? Or anything similar?
