I’m standing in line in the car park to get into the shop to get a prescription.
Looking at parked cars, people waiting inside them for their partner who is in the store shopping.
So you’d think they’d be safe or at least think they’ll think they are safe.
Nope, sat in the car on a very hot day (Yes we have them) here with gloves and face masks on.
For the record it’s not so much stupid as unnecessary and makes people feel more safe than they are and they become complacent.
Not to mention wearing gloves has been proven over and over to spread germs and aren’t necessary unless your in a medical environment where your changing them all the time.
Best practice is to wash your hands regularly, keep some hand sanitiser with you for if you touch something and you feel it wasn’t entirely safe.
That's were the stupid comes in, not fully understanding what you need to do, wasting resources that needed elsewhere.
